The Arts Club

The Arts Club supports the local creative community by providing a studio facilities for the development of arts and entertainment projects. The Arts Club also features a Gallery, Theatre and Stage all used to showcase arts productions and for special community events. The Arts Club hosts The Creative Arts Institute  training programs in its classroom during the day.

Brighton Dragon Boat Club

Welcome to the Brighton Dragon Boat Club!

Have you ever wanted to try dragon boating? Now's your chance! Welcome to the best little dragon boat club in eastern Ontario. Our paddling season extends from mid-May to late September, and it's easy to join us. We offer multiple paddling sessions weekly, for all skill levels.

 

Come join the fun! Paddle in the morning or evenings in the bay. Beautiful way to enjoy the water.

Brighton Lawn Bowling and Croquet Club

Lawn Bowling and Croquet are seasonal, recreational activities for all age groups. They are challenging sports within a friendly, relaxed, and sociable environment. Come out to try bowling or croquet - no charge. New members are welcome. Lessons are provided to all new players. One membership fee provides access to both sports.
Lawn Bowling: Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm, Sunday and Wednesday 2:00 p.m. (May through Sept.)
Croquet: Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.; Saturday from 2:00 p.m. (May through Sept.)

Brighton Martial Arts Club
Promotes Karate and Jujitsu in training and competition, for members of all ages and experience levels. New students always welcome. The club meets Tuesday & Thursday evenings at the 8 Loyalist Drive, Unit #8 in the Brighton Industrial Park. Junior Class from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Senior Class from 7:30pm to 9:00 pm.

The season begins with a conditioning school for all ages.
It runs August through April for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 19 years.

Brighton Tennis Club
A member of the Ontario Tennis Association for all ages and levels of ability, ladies?, mens? and mixed doubles nights are played each week with tournaments scheduled throughout the summer. Free lessons are offered with every junior membership.
A qualified tennis professional is available from May to September for private or group lessons.

Cold Creek Girls Hockey Association
We welocme girls and ladies of all ages. Females from the age of 5 to the young at heart play up to Senior (Ladies). On-ice practices begin in August with the season wrapping up at the end of March. We are a member of Hockey Canada and the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA).

Ontario Baton Twirling Association
A recreational organization that teaches children baton twirling. Meets Monday nights in the basement at the Municipal building. Throughout the year we perform in parades and events in Brighton and Trenton. Children ages 4 and up welcome.

Presqu'ile Walking Club
Walks every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 9:00am, meeting at the camp office in cooler months, and at the light house in warmer months. Walkers of all ages are welcome. Walkers set their own pace and walk from one to five miles.
