Notice of Vegetation Management Operations

Residents are advised that during the month of November the Municipality of Brighton’s Public Works staff will be performing selective vegetation management operations throughout the municipality.

Public Works is committed to providing a safe roadside environment for all roadway users. To achieve this, staff must maintain vegetation which encroaches the road allowance, roadway, sidewalks and provide adequate height clearance for pedestrian and road traffic.

If not managed properly, trees, brush or other vegetation can compromise public safety.

Operations will continue into December weather permitting.
