Reconstruction of Addison Street and Napoleon Street

Please be advised that construction work on Addison and Napoleon streets is set to commence tentatively June 6 th, 2022. Completion of the work is anticipated by October 21st, 2022. This work includes the removal and replacement of water, storm and sanitary infrastructure, curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt surface. The contractor for this project is Behan Construction. Oza Inspections Limited will be conducting a pre-construction assessment of homes and foundations in the vicinity of the construction. The purpose is to help identify damage claims that may result from vibrations due to heavy equipment. We understand privacy concerns but encourage you to allow the inspections, since any subsequent claims require pre-assessment information for a fair comparison. A representative will be contacting residents in the immediate vicinity of the work shortly to explain the process and obtain your permission. There is no cost to you for this survey. Road closures will be in place with access limited to local traffic only. Residents will be advised when work is going to impact access to their driveway. On street parking is prohibited on the affected roads during the construction period. A temporary water hookup will be used during the construction process. Installation of the temporary water service will occur prior to construction and a short interruption of water service may be required during the process. The Contractor will ensure that garbage and recycling pick-up is uninterrupted by construction activity. Affected residents will be notified if there are any additional instructions regarding garbage and recycling pickup. We appreciate your patience during construction and look forward to the completion of these important upgrades.
