A Statement From The CAO

The Municipality of Brighton would like to inform residents that staff discovered an error in the tax rate calculation, which resulted in the overbilling of taxes. Staff worked diligently to correct the error, and a re-calculation of the tax rate has been completed.

 

The following is a notice to all taxpayers from our Director of Finance. A copy of this notice will be included in a revised tax bill, which the Municipality will be issuing imminently.  

 

The Municipality of Brighton apologizes for this error and any inconvenience it has caused.
