Car Show

The Applefest Car Show draws hundreds of car owners and enthusiasts from all over south-eastern Ontario. Spend the day perusing unique vehicles, enjoying music from a live DJ and great food from local vendors. Check it out...

Saturday, September 28th from 10am to 4pm at Brighton Public School, 24 Elizabeth Street

Gates open for viewing at 10:00am. Admission is FREE. Washrooms are available onsite. Parking is available and shuttle busses are available every 5 to 7 minutes with access to further parking areas. For more details, please click here. 

Interested in having your vehicle showcased in the show? Gates open at 8am for parking. No pre-registration is required! A registration fee (CASH ONLY) is payable at the gate. All years, makes and models welcome. Make sure you show up early as spots fill up quickly! For directions on how to get to the Car Show, please see 'Directions for Participants' below.

Directions for Participants

If you're arriving to the Car Show from the North...

• take exit 509
• proceed south on County Road 30
• use the left turning lane to turn onto Alice Street* (DO NOT TAKE COUNTY ROAD 30 INTO TOWN OR YOU WILL GET STUCK IN STREET FAIR TRAFFIC) *please note that Alice Street is a residential area, please use caution when driving
• continue straight until you reach Dundas Street
• turn left onto Dundas Street and continue until you see the entrance of the Car Show!

If you're arriving to the Car Show from the South...

• take County Road 64/ Prince Edward Street
• turn right onto Elizabeth Street and continue to Terry Fox Drive
• turn left onto Terry Fox Drive, continue to Dundas Street
• turn left onto Dundas Street and until you see the entrance of the Car Show!

If you're arriving to the Car Show from the West...

• take Highway 2 to Ontario Street
• turn right onto Ontario Street and continue to Butler Street
• take a left onto Butler Street
• proceed to Prince Edward Street
• take a left onto Prince Edward Street
• continue to Dundas Street 
• take a right onto Dundas Street and continue until you reach the Car Show!

If you're arriving to the Car Show from the East...

• take Highway 2 into town until you reach Terry Fox Drive
• turn right onto Terry Fox Drive and continue to Dundas Street
• turn left onto Dundas Street and continue until you see the Car Show!

REMINDER: Applefest is a PET FREE EVENT. 

The Municipality of Brighton’s Prohibit Animals at Annual Applefest Event By-Law (#036-2024) prohibits persons from escorting animals or pets of any kind to Applefest. This by-law will be in effect and enforced on the Saturday of Applefest from 6am to 11pm in the following locations:

• The Street Fair, Main Street from Prince Edward Street to Victoria Street,
• Music in the Park, Memorial Park (includes Sanford Street, Kingsley Avenue, Veterans Way, and County Road 2),
• The Children's Village, King Edward Park, 75 Elizabeth Street,
• The Car Show, Brighton Public School, 24 Elizabeth Street and,
• Brighton Fire Station #1, 20 Elizabeth Street

There is a $250.00 fine for individuals who host or escort an animal to Applefest, provide a false statement or information to enforcement officers, and/or hinder, or obstruct directly or indirectly enforcement officers. Service animals with official paperwork are exempt from this By-Law.
