On the King Edward Park grounds, you will discover the hub of recreation! With 2 ball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, skateboard park, splash pad, and playground and walking paths you are sure to find enjoyment.

King Edward Park Arena |
The Municipality of Brighton operates the King Edward Park Arena which is located at 75 Elizabeth Street (County Road#2). It is a single pad with ice surface dimensions measuring 180'x80'. The ice season is from mid-September to the end of March. The slab floor is available to rent for large functions from mid-April until the end of August. King Edward Park Community Centre |
The Owen Gibb Community Centre, which hosts many different functions and community groups throughout the year is located in the same building as the arena. The hall can be divided into two sections and has a full kitchen and audio and video system. It is a popular site for wedding receptions, meetings, and family gatherings. Ball Diamonds at King Edward Park |
There are two ball diamonds located at King Edward Park, maintained by the municipality. One of the diamonds is used for minor hardball, and adult slo-pitch, while the second softball-sized field is used for youth programming and slo-pitch. Both fields have clay infields, warning tracks, and lighting systems for evening/night use. The fields are used during the late spring and summer on an almost daily basis. Aris Marcus Soccer Field |
Located in King Edward Park, the municipality's main field is the home of both the Brighton Soccer Club and adult leagues. The field is fully lit and has an irrigation system. It is very popular with players for its great condition throughout the soccer season. There is also a second smaller field for practices and public use through the season. Brighton Tennis Courts |
Located at King Edward Park, the tennis facility has two courts for the public's enjoyment. The courts are lit in evenings for use after sundown. The Brighton tennis club uses the courts at certain times during the day and evening which are approved by the Municipality of Brighton, established prior to the season beginning and will be booked on the schedule below. Brighton Outdoor Pickle Ball Court |
Brighton has 4 outdoor pickle ball courts located at King Edward Park, 75 Elizabeth Street. The Brighton Pickle ball club books the court at certain times as approved by the Parks and Recreation department. Any bookings will be viewable on the schedule below. Skateboard Park |
The municipal skateboard park is located in King Edward Park.

Children's Splash Pad |
The splash pad which is located at King Edward Park is a popular spot in the summer for kids and families looking to cool down and enjoy the outdoors. The park is open from the Victoria Day Weekend through to Labour Day in September. Hours of operation are from 10am till 8pm daily. |
Rotary Club Garden and Pergola |
Located in the north-east corner of King Edward Park, the garden area is a popular spot for pictures with its colourful flowers, brickwork pathways and white pergola in the background. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. |
King Edward Park Picnic Pavilion |
The pavilion located beside the splash pad and playground areas is a large covered areas for gatherings as well as a place to go for shelter from of the sun on hot summer days. It is used for family and group picnics as well as the main organizing area for ball and soccer tournaments. If you would like to reserve the use of the shelter, contact the Parks and Rec department. BMX Track |
Located at the northwest section of Codrington Community Park Jumps and various terrain for the BMX bike rider. Open dawn to dusk, weather permitting. |
Codrington Park Shelter |
The shelter is located at the Codrington Community Centre, 2992 County Road 30. It is 30' x 80', has a concrete floor, led lighting, electrical outlets and a paved driveway area up to its east side which is quite handy for events such as the Sunday farmer's market. |
Codrington Community Centre |
The Codrington Community Centre is located at 2992 County Road 30 in Codrington. The facility has an inspected kitchen and a hall that is approximately 27' by 47' (8 m by 14 m) and can hold 120 people (seated) and 147 standing.
