The Municipality of Brighton invites qualified and experienced companies to submit proposals for the supply, delivery and installation of a wireless microphone system containing all components required to ensure compatibility and trouble-free usage with the existing sound equipment in the Council Chambers. The selected supplier will also be responsible for providing necessary training and support to both council support staff and IT personnel to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the system. As a critical aspect of the recommended strategy, the Municipality will require participants to visit our site and review the existing equipment prior to submitting their final proposal.

Request for Proposal - Flow Monitoring Study - Brighton Sanitary Sewer System
The Corporation of the Municipality of Brighton has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure a qualified contractor to supply, install and maintain sanitary sewer flow monitoring devices for a minimum set interval and report on results.
The contractor to analyse the sewage flow information and provide draft and final reports that detail sewage flows at each location. Additional sewage flow data will be provided by the Municipality for the Harbour Street Sewage Pumping station for inclusion in the contractor’s report.
The flow monitors are to remain in place for three months once all monitors are installed and operating to the satisfaction of the Municipality. This project will include a review, by the contractor, of past similar flow measurement studies.
A schematic drawing of the Municipality’s sanitary sewage system is provided in Drawing 24005-01 (provided separately). This drawing also identifies the proposed locations of the flow monitors and other key features of the sewer system including sanitary drainage areas (drainage areas), the Harbour Street sewage pumping station and the sewage treatment lagoon system.

The Corporation of the Municipality of Brighton is seeking proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide field engineering surveys, geotechnical works, detailed design drawings, specifications, construction cost estimates, permitting, and tender documents to construct the replacement of cast iron and asbestos watermains on the south side of Main Street between Ontario Street and County Road 2 (approximately 366 Main Street), including directional drilling at the Butler Creek crossing and for full (both lane) asphalt surface restoration, new turning lanes and paved shoulders within the project limits, in accordance with the terms, conditions, terms of reference, and attachments to this RFP. This project is partially funded by Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program - Green Funding Stream and is subject to the terms, conditions and deadlines outlined within the grant. The Municipality may or may not enter into a Service Contract as a result of the issuance of this RFP. The Contractor is responsible for visiting the sites and viewing the proposed work.
