Municipality of Brighton Transportation Master Plan
The Study
The Municipality of Brighton has initiated a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) to develop a long-term road network and active transportation strategy that will address existing needs and accommodate projected population growth within the municipality.
The Master Plan will outline the direction for a balanced transportation system within the Municipality, offering a variety of mode choices to the residents and visitors through a well-connected network, efficiently operating, and easy-to-access transportation infrastructure for the next 25 years.
The study involves the preparation of a Transportation Master Plan document which will satisfy Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, amended in 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2023), which is an approved process under the Environmental Assessment Act.
