Construction Update: County Road 64 (Prince Edward Street)

Work on the County Road 64 (Prince Edward Street) project is progressing, with crews set to move into the next phase of construction in the coming weeks.
Beginning the week of July 13, work will continue near the Loyalist Drive/Grimes Street and Prince Edward Street intersection. Flaggers may be on site to help manage traffic while maintaining access to the Loyalist Industrial Park. Current closures and detour routes will remain in place.
Starting Monday, July 20, the current closures and detour routes will be adjusted. Access to the Loyalist Industrial Park and Stephen Street subdivision will be maintained via Stephen Street and Cedar Street. Please follow posted detour signs for guidance.
Full closures of Prince Edward Street between Cedar Street and Elizabeth Street are required as construction progresses. Local traffic and access to the industrial park will be maintained at all times.
Please note that, due to the construction detour route, on-street parking is prohibited on Raglan Street, Stephen Street, and Cedar Street. This parking restriction is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The temporary By-Law amendment will remain in effect until November 2026.
Expect traffic delays and use extra caution when travelling through the area. Please slow down, avoid using your phone while driving, and watch for construction workers, pedestrians, and equipment.
Thank you for your patience as we work to complete this important infrastructure project to improve local infrastructure.
