Clubs and activities for seniors

The following organizations offer services and activities for older adults living in Brighton, Ontario.

The PROBUS Club of Brighton is for retired or semi-retired business professionals who want to meet other like-minded individuals and who share an interest in social activities and guest speaking opportunities.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the King Edward Park Community Centre at 75 Elizabeth Street in Brighton.

The PROBUS club of Presqu'ile is a social club for retired and semi-retired individuals interested in making new friends, discovering new interests and most importantly having fun. PROBUS Is a volunteer-lead, non-profit, non-political, non sectarian fellowship organization with more than 4,000 clubs worldwide, some 250 being Canadian clubs.

In addition to our monthly meetings there are social outings you can attend such as wine tours, boat cruises, trivia nights, local theatre, and much more. There are also special interest groups you can participate in such as book clubs, cards, golf, bowling and so on.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the King Edward Park Community Centre, 75 Elizabeth Street, Brighton. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

The Brighton Computer Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month from September to May for $30. Have free coffee, tea and refreshments. Computer presentations made at meetings, get email notices on events for computer users, a list of free software. Ask the Tech Support Team for answers to your computer problems!
