The Municipality of Brighton is preparing for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election, which will take place on October 26. To stay informed, learn how to register to vote, and access information for candidates, visit our Elections webpage.
The Municipality of Brighton will host a Public Information Session on Wednesday, August 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to provide information about the Brighton Lands Program (also known as the Land Bank Program) for the municipally owned lands located east of No Frills.
Please be advised that Main Street from Prince Edward Street to Division Street North will be temporarily closed to traffic on Saturday, August 1, for the the Rotary Street Dance event.
Council will meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office.
Lower Trent Conservation advises municipalities and the public that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety has been issued for the local creeks within the Lower Trent Watershed region.
Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office. Residents can attend in-person or virtually on our YouTube Channel.
