Residents are advised that as of today, Monday, March 30, 2026, the access road to Mount Hope Cemetery has re-opened.

Please be advised that the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, has been cancelled.

Residents are reminded that our Municipal Offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6, in observance of Easter.

This meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in person at the Brighton Public Library at 35 Alice St.

Please Take Notice that the Council of the Municipality of Brighton will hold a Statutory Public Meeting on: Monday, April 13, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office.

Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office. Residents can attend in-person or virtually on our YouTube Channel. Please note that closed session will begin at 5:00 p.m.

The Northumberland OPP Detachment Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, in person at the Centreton Community Centre, 2363 Northumberland County Road 23 Grafton.
