Applefest

The community of Brighton, in eastern Ontario, is surrounded by rich agricultural land with an abundance of apple orchards and roadside farmers' stalls. To bear witness to the bountiful apple harvest at the height of the harvesting season, Brighton celebrates its annual Applefest festival over the last full weekend of September.

We are thrilled to announce that Applefest has been recognized as a Top 100 Festival in Ontario for both 2025 and 2026 by Festivals and Events Ontario. Top 100 Awards are awarded to festivals and events for their excellence in creativity, community engagement, and overall event experience.
