Municipal Trails

The Municipality of Brighton has a number of parks, facilities, and trails for you to explore.

The Parks and Recreation Department manages most of these recreation facilities along with its parks, trails, marinas and boat launches, playing surfaces and flower gardens.

The trail is located north of Castle Ridge and ends south of the Cemetery on George Street.

It is maintained April to October and has 610 meters of wheelchair accessible trail and 270 meters that is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The Presqu'ile Parkway Walking Trail link is a two meter-wide asphalt public walking trail which runs along the Presqu'ile Parkway from the Ontario Street Boat Launch property to the main entrance gates of Presqu'ile Provincial Park.

It is a very popular trail for walkers and cyclists alike.

The Stalwood Trail link extends 900 meters from the south side of Monck Street to the west side of Ontario Street.

It is a three meter-wide trail made up of gravel and crushed limestone, suitable for both walking, jogging and cycling.

The Tobey Trail Link was the first nature trail constructed in the Municipality and is 900 meters long.

The Trail follows Butler Creek from Cedar Street to Harbour Street.

Constructed using wood chips and is a beautiful nature walk through the woods.
