Yes. The Applefest Street Fair takes place on Saturday, September 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Brighton’s Main Street. The Street Fair is a one-day event featuring 150+ vendors, local businesses, food vendors, growers, and artisans.

- Applefest is a smoke-free and vape-free event. Please refrain from smoking at all Applefest events.

Please also note that Brighton Applefest has a Zero Harassment Policy to protect vendors, volunteers and staff. Visitors not abiding by this policy will be asked to leave.

Is the Applefest Street Fair one day only?
Can I bring my dog to Applefest?
No. To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, pets are not permitted at Applefest in accordance with the Municipality of Brighton’s by-law outlined below. Service animals are permitted.
The Municipality of Brighton’s Prohibit Animals at Annual Applefest Event By-law No. 036-2024 prohibits persons from escorting animals or pets of any kind to Applefest. This by-law will be in effect and enforced on the Saturday of Applefest from 6am to 11pm in the following locations:

The Street Fair, Main Street from Prince Edward Street to Victoria Street,

Music in the Park, Memorial Park (includes Sanford Street, Kingsley Avenue, Veterans Way, and County Road 2),

The Children's Village, King Edward Park, 75 Elizabeth Street,

The Car Show, Brighton Public School, 24 Elizabeth Street and,

Brighton Fire Station #1, 20 Elizabeth Street
There is a $250.00 penalty for individuals who host or escort an animal to Applefest, provide a false statement or information to enforcement officers, and/or hinder, or obstruct directly or indirectly enforcement officers. Service animals are exempt from this By-law.
Applefest vendor applications for the 2026 festival are now closed. 2027 applications will open in early April and close in early June, so mark your calendars! Application information can be found on the Applefest Applications page.
