$3.00/person. A 10-pass skating pass is available for $30.00

• Public skating is an opportunity for a leisurely skate for all ages.
• Sticks and pucks are not permitted.
• Adult supervision is required for children ages 12 and under.
• CSA-approved hockey helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
• CSA-approved hockey helmets are mandatory for children five years of age or younger.
• Only people wearing skates are allowed on the ice.
• Skate at a sensible and safe speed in the same direction as other skaters.
• Skate gliders and adjustable skate aids are available for use.

NEW - Fridays 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Kids: $5

Adults: $10

• Stick and Puck is a drop-in recreational skate for parents/guardians to help children practice and develop skating, stick handling and passing skills in a non-competitive environment.
• Children must be accompanied on ice by a parent/guardian at all times.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their child during the skate.
• Park & Rec staff will provide facility supervision & enforce program rules but will not provide coaching.
• Parents must wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet.
• Children must wear a CSA-certified hockey helmet with attached face mask/cage.
• Parent/Children must have their own hockey stick and puck.
• Hockey nets are provided. 
• Please be mindful of others when you are shooting the puck.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Per Skater: $3.00 (under 6 free)

• For children aged six and under and their caregivers.
• It is highly recommended that all participants wear CSA-approved helmets.
  No sticks, chairs, strollers or sleds are permitted on the ice surface
• Skate gliders are available

Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Adults: $ 3.00/person

• Adult Leisure Skate is a drop-in recreational skate for adults 18 years and older.

• CSA-approved hockey helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.

Adults 18+ Coed: $10

• Non-competitive, non-contact, informal drop-in hockey program.
• Please be inclusive and mindful of players of all skill levels and abilities, and keep a fun environment.
• CSA-approved helmets and full equipment are mandatory for all players and goalies.
• Shinny is not intended for organized teams.
• Referees are not provided.
• No body-checking is allowed.
• This activity is not directly supervised. Report any concerns to staff.

Youth Shinny on PA Days only

Kids: $5

•          Parks & Rec Staff will provide supervision for Youth Shinny and enforce rules.

• This is a non-competitive environment. Please be inclusive and mindful of players of all skill levels and abilities, and keep a fun environment.
• CSA-approved helmets and full equipment are mandatory for all players.
