The Dog Control By-Law regulates dogs in the Municipality of Brighton.
Dog tag registrations can be completed online. The forms are available under the By-law Enforcement tab on the Applications, Forms and Permits page.
All fees for Dog Tags and Kennel Licences can be found on Brighton's General Fees and Charges By-Law.

Roadside Animal Information
Any animals found deceased on Municipal Property, such as roads, parks or any other Municipal property, please contact Public Works at (613) 475-1162 ext. 111 to have a work order generated for public works road staff to collect the deceased animal.
Any animals found deceased on County Roads, please contact Northumberland County at Phone: (905) 372-3329 or Toll Free: 1-800-354-7050 or on their website at https://forms.northumberland.ca/report-an-issue.
Any animals found on private property is the responsibility of the property owner to have the animal removed at the property owner's expense. You may contact any pest control company.
