Unfinished Business

-            The Mayor’s Budget was formally presented to Council on November 17, 2025. Following Council’s amendment on November 24, 2025 put forward by Councillor Wheeldon "Add an allocation for implementing recommendations of the Brighton Homelessness Task Force of $50,000 funded through grant revenue; and This amendment supports public safety and community well-being", no veto was issued by the Mayor. In accordance with legislative requirements, the budget was deemed approved on December 27, 2025.
