Notice of Special Council Meeting – August 28, 2026

Council will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office, 35 Alice Street. Residents can attend in-person or virtually on our Youtube Channel.

Topic of Special Council meeting:

·       Signing of Twinning Charter with the Town of Brighton, New York.

Mayor Brian Ostrander and Town of Brighton, New York Supervisor Bill Moehle will formally sign the Twinning Charter between the Municipality of Brighton and the Town of Brighton, New York. The Twinning Charter was previously approved by Council at its June 1 meeting and signifies the formal establishment of the twinning relationship between the two municipalities.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
