Winter Operations Update - January 8, 2026
Our Public Works staff continue to clear roads, sidewalks, and parking lots following the recent snowfall and are preparing for additional precipitation that is expected this weekend.
If you notice a blocked catch basin please contact the Public Works department at (613) 475-1162 or submit a service request through our online portal to help prevent potential flooding. Snow removal in the Downtown core will be scheduled as soon as weather conditions allow and following the priority storm clean up tasks such as clearing catch basins. Please use designated crosswalks when walking downtown to ensure safety and to avoid snowbanks.
