Residents are advised that 424 Squadron (Sqn) from CFB Trenton will be hosting and conducting a Joint Search and Rescue (SAR) Exercise within the Trenton Search and Rescue Region as part of TIGEREX.

Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office. Residents can attend in-person or virtually on our YouTube Channel. 

Beginning today, Friday, May 1, half-load restrictions will be lifted. 

Update (April 29, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.) - Water services have now been fully restored for residents affected by the watermain shutdown earlier today.

BRIGHTON, ON (April 24, 2026) - The Municipality of Brighton hosted its annual Volunteer Recognition Event on Thursday, April 23, at the Owen Gibb Community Hall. The event provided an opportunity for council members, staff, previous award recipients, and community volunteers to gather, celebrate service, and recognize those who generously share their time.

The due date for the first installment of the interim tax bill is due Thursday, April 30.
