The Community Events & Civic Awards Steering Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office.

The Municipality of Brighton is inviting residents to participate in the 16^th Annual Mayors’ Keep the County Clean Challenge, a friendly community competition among the seven municipalities of Northumberland County.

The Heritage Advisory Committee will meet at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office.

Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, in person at the Brighton Municipal Office. Residents can attend in-person or virtually on our YouTube Channel.

The meeting will be held at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Presqu'ile Waddling Arts Center.

Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of The Municipality of Brighton that nomination papers for the 2026 Municipal Election for Municipal Council or School Board Trustee may be filed in person or by an agent with the Returning Officer as of Friday, May 1, 2026, during regular office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and until Nomination Day, Friday, August 21, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
