Bulk Water Station- 40 Loyalist Drive, Brighton
Project Summary
The Municipality of Brighton constructed a new Bulk Water Station at 40 Loyalist Drive to replace the former facility on Pinnacle Street. Relocating the station to the Brighton Industrial Park provides improved access for commercial users, reduces impacts on neighbouring residential properties, and supports future industrial growth.
The project included:
- Completion of a Class Environmental Assessment and site selection.
- Construction of a new prefabricated bulk water station building.
- Installation of water, sanitary, electrical, and site servicing infrastructure.
- New asphalt, parking, signage, and site restoration.
- Coin-operated and commercial bulk water dispensing systems.
Engineering for the bulk water station was completed by Greer Galloway Limited, with municipal staff responsible for the site design, tendering, construction inspection, and contract administration. Site servicing was completed as part of the 2023 Loyalist Drive / Applewood Drive Reconstruction project, with the facility becoming operational in August 2024.
