The Brighton District Fire Department protects our community with a team of dedicated volunteers. The Fire Department responds to roughly 425 calls per year for fires, motor vehicle accidents, carbon monoxide, hazardous conditions, water rescues and medicals.

The Municipality permits open air burns under strict guidelines from the fire department.

Tanker Shuttle Certification may save you money on your insurance premiums. You must check with your insurance company as some do not recognize the superior tanker shuttle accreditation.

On September 20, 2025 The Brighton District Fire Department was successful in achieving The Residential rating for Fire Department Water Tanker Shuttle Accreditation.
