Brighton waters are protected by Brighton Marine Rescue (BMR) who provide marine rescue services and support to distressed people on the water to anyone who requires assistance at no cost. Brighton Marine Rescue (BMR) is a member of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA), operating out of the Bay Street Marina in Brighton.
